Planning an event people will remember?

  • You’ve booked speakers who were great on stage and forgotten by the next break.

  • Your audience is tired of hype, slogans and “just stay positive.”

  • You need a talk that lands with leadership and front-line staff in the same room.

  • You want people talking about it at lunch, and using it long after.

  • You need a speaker who listens to what your audience needs, not one who delivers the same talk everywhere.

Inspiration fades. Tools stay.

Your people don’t need another pep talk.

They need something they can reach for when the hard moment actually comes.

Meet Kelly

I don’t speak from a pedestal.

For 30 years I was the one who held everything together, including as CFO of our family business at 25. I thought control was leadership. It took burnout, loss and a hard look in the mirror to learn a different way.

Today I’m a recovered control freak, an ICF-credentialed coach (ACC), a Certified Resilience Coach, a member of Speakers NS and the founder of One Toolbox Leadership™. On stage, I say what most speakers won’t, including my own most embarrassing moments, so your audience sees themselves in it.

How we build your keynote.

Every talk is shaped around your audience, not pulled off a shelf.

If you want a speaker people are still quoting long after the event, let’s talk.

Not just a few good quotes. Practical skills from the One Toolbox for work, home and community, starting that same day.

1.

Who’s in the audience, what they’re carrying and what you want them to walk away with. When scope allows, I talk with a few attendees beforehand so the talk meets them where they are.

Each talk takes one part of the One Toolbox and applies it to a real leadership challenge.

Who Looks After THe One Who's Looking After  Everyone Else?

The people everyone leans on are often the last to look after themselves. This talk is about resilience, putting yourself first without apology and remembering that you’re no help to anyone if there’s nothing left of you.

The Cost of Costume Changes

Same person. Same toolbox. Different room.

Switching personas between work, home and community burns more energy than anyone realizes. This talk shows people how to stop changing costumes and lead as one person everywhere.

03

Having every answer feels like leadership, but it keeps everyone else small. This talk shows the difference between running the show and leading people, and how stepping back builds people who step up.

Book This Talk

Stop Bossing. Start Leading.

Bosses rescue. Leaders guide.

02

Pick Your Battles

Not everything deserves your best. Some things just need to get done.

Perfectionism looks like high standards, but it runs on stress and anxiety. This talk helps people decide what truly matters, let go of the rest and stop paying for perfect with their peace.

Say The Hard Thing

The conversation you’re avoiding is costing more than the one you’re dreading.

A difficult conversation doesn’t succeed because nobody gets upset. It succeeds when what needed to be said gets said, clearly and respectfully. This talk shows people how to own the hard conversation instead of hoping it goes away.

05

Positivity Fatigue

“Just stay positive” isn’t a resilience plan.

People in caring roles are told to smile through it, and it’s wearing them down. This talk separates real resilience from forced positivity and gives people permission to be honest about what they’re carrying.

Life After Death

A Different Kind of Talk

This talk is different from the rest. It’s my story as a mom who lost her daughter, Aidaen, to suicide. I share what I lived through during her years of severe mental illness, what I wish I had known, and how losing her changed the way I live and lead.

This was my turning point. You don’t need to wait for yours.

Ask Me About This Talk

It’s honest, it’s hard, and it’s full of hope.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 9-8-8 any time, day or night.

This was my turning point.
You don’t need to wait for yours.

What This Means For Your Audience

Because the best keynote isn’t the one they applaud. It’s the one they use.

A keynote that keeps working long after the room empties.

Book Me For Your Next Event

Because the best keynote
isn’t the one they applaud.
It’s the one they use.

They feel seen, not lectured.

They laugh, think and leave a little lighter.

They have a plan for the next hard moment, not just a good feeling.

They stop waiting for permission to lead differently.

Your event becomes the one people talk about.

Still have questions?

1.

Anywhere from a 15-minute opener to a 3-hour interactive session. If your agenda needs something different, I’ll build a length that suits your event.

How long is a One Toolbox Leadership keynote?

Is the Life After Death keynote right for our audience?

2.

It’s best suited for audiences ready for an honest conversation about mental health, grief and suicide. Before you book, we’ll talk through your audience and the support available on the day.

We start with a free planning conversation about your event, your audience and what you want them to walk away with. From there, I send a quote that includes travel, and we sort out timing, format and technical details together.

3.

What happens after we reach out about booking a keynote?

Can a keynote be tailored to our event theme and audience?

4.

Yes. Every keynote is shaped around your people, whether it’s a room of executives, front-line staff or a mix of both. I also build custom talks around your event theme, as long as it fits within the scope of leadership.

Yes. I always prefer to be in the room with your audience, and I travel across Atlantic Canada to make that happen. Travel costs are included in your quote, and virtual keynotes are available when distance gets in the way.
